Thanks for checking the eBay pricing on the 350 for me. I appreciate your suggestion of "free-trial" on the 350. I would certainly go this route if the T1 is not currently discounted at $99. And seems like Sony would raise the price back to $130 after December 24.

It also makes me thinking about the current $50 trade-in offer on the T1. I read some old posts about this kind of trade in program but I do not know how often Sony does that. Like you suggested, I can trade in or sell the 350 if there is compelling reason to do so. Hopefully the T1 will be at similar price or a more ideal e-reader will be available then.
