A brief introduction to the prehistoric ruins at Paquime/Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico. This small desert city met a mysterious end less than a century before the first Spanish expedition to the area. Its inhabitants followed an intriguing mix of Mesoamerican and Puebloan cultural practices.
