This is the same Carolyn Haines who writes the Sarah Booth Delaney "Bones" mystery series, which is a really fun series - at least, I think so. This looks pretty different, but sitll I'm going to enjoy the chance to try one of her other books for free.
It's also free on BN right now (Saturday night, US Pacific time).
