The new agency rules killed the Fictionwise business model. With the agency acting as the seller, and limiting the amount a retailer could discount a book, the micropay system became disfunctional and was discontinued. In effect, book purchases could no longer be "bundled" using micropay.
Too bad. I really liked them.
