Hi all. I am brand new to Kindle ownership and this board.

I have what is probably a stupid question, but Amazon doesn't seem to be clear.

When at a listing, such as the Austin American Statesman, it will give the price ($13.99, I think), but it doesn't state how long the subscription lasts for. I'm assuming it's for 1 month, but the website doesn't clarify. Maybe when viewing on the Kindle it will state? (Still waiting for Kindle to arrive.)
