Florence, I think you're right! People aren't always happy either, unless they have something to attack. Look at the prevalence of lawsuits (at least in the US). Life became too easy for some and they are filling their time.
I don't mind a silly thread becoming serious, either, or having serious points made. I'm not a thread elitist
