Ok, man this drive or whatever it is has to be badly corrupt so many crashes. What causes the green light? have not seen that for quite a while

Edit:Tried different cable and no go. Even realized did not try usb 2 instead of 3 but it was the same, not getting past 0 percent and saying "done". I really want to erase and reformat that drive if I could.
