Post Foxconn to deliver e-book readers to China Mobile

Chinese telco China Mobile hopes work with Taiwan's Foxconn Electronics on the production of e-book readers. China Mobile's chief executive Wang Jianzhou is currently visiting Taiwan to procure equipment and pursue collaborations. Wang will meet with Foxconn chairman Terry Gou to discuss a possible cooperation on e-book devices, the Digitimes reports citing Wang Jianzhou. China Mobile would expect shipments of the devices to start in the first half of 2010 at the earliest.

I wonder if there is going to be some sort of wireless access, like the Kindle. Not that this would do anybody outside of China any good as China Mobile uses the homegrown TD-SCDMA standard.
