Cyanogen for the nook color might be a good base for the kobo vox. they have the same specs as in ram, cpu (arm cortex a8), and display. do you think you could port it to the vox some how by editing the rom so that it works on it? Maybe cyanogenmod 10 for the nook color (4.1) could be the base so it's not too laggy and it still has all the features. if possible, allowing the cpu to overclock up to 1.3 ghz (but still have the choice to clock it lower) would be awesome

the imx51 for the vox, the nook however has the ti omap 3621.
the vox has the adreno 200 while the nook color has the PowerVR SGX 530
