And for the record - my plot is nowhere near complete. The whole story is about 800 words that came to me a week ago when I realized that I needed to put something on paper to give myself something set in stone to use.

In short: This year's challenge involves an underwater world that's been created using an oopsies style technology that worked but didn't work the way it should

It's a quest story with the goal to get out of the "black"
Along the way hero gets sucked up into a three-way war between the sentinent sea life, the people who live under the sea, and the token bad guy who also mysteriously ended up there.

And then Borderlands came out and distracted me. I need to put away the toys. :/
