Robeson, Kenneth: Savage 46 - The Vanisher. V1. 11 August 2012

Doc Savage Magazine #46 - The Vanisher
by Kenneth Robeson (1936)

Lester Dent (October 12, 1904 – March 11, 1959) was a prolific pulp fiction author, best known as the creator and main author of the series of novels about the superhuman scientist and adventurer, Doc Savage. The 159 novels written over 16 years were credited to the house name Kenneth Robeson.

Synopsis:
Twenty convicts vanished without a trace from maximum security cells, and top businessmen suddenly disappeared. The tabloids trumpeted the reign of a small, deformed man—or woman—spotted at the scenes. Strangely, Doc Savage himself was framed for the disappearances… and then the murders. But the Horrible Hunchback hadn't counted on the wrath of the mighty Man of Bronze!
