No surprise here that there were lack lustre sales.
I would not buy (as a new to the brand user) from a company with a history of last gasps. New users want SUPPORT to be there when they need it.

Feature competition is good.
Price is only a consideration. Just look at Apple: Expensive, but they still SELL. They have features some folk are willing to pay $$ for.
