"Google Wallet" para todos


Actualmente la aplicación oficial de Google Wallet para Android sólo esta disponible para algunos dispositivos con NFC de Estados Unidos pero eso va a cambiar pronto, ya que en breve llegará su nueva versión, con nuevas funciones, para más dispositivos y disponible en más sistemas operativos.

A través de la página de móviles de podemos solicitar una invitación para probar próximamente la nueva versión de Google Wallet tanto para Android, iOS como para otros dispositivos móviles a través de su versión web. Ya no hará falta que nuestro dispositivo tenga que tener NFC para tener la aplicación oficial de pagos de Google.

Se sabe muy poco sobre la nueva versión de Google Wallet. Todo apunta a que permitirá el traspaso de dinero entre usuarios para competir con PayPal y permitirá añadir entradas, tickets y tarjetas como PassBook de Apple. En los móviles con NFC seguirá permitiendo el pago con esa tecnología con prácticamente cualquier tarjeta de crédito y débito.

Se desconoce cuando llegará la nueva versión pero todo apunta a que será anunciada oficialmente el próximo lunes 29 de Octubre en la presentación del Nexus 4 y Android 4.2.
