@theducks -- thanks -- that sorted it out for me as far as the epub version is concerned


I was trying to follow the tutorial:

which had an example

Add a definition of the font, e.g.:

@font-face {
font-family: 'MyFont'; <===================???
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
src: url(MyFont.ttf);
}

@font-face {
font-family: 'MyFontBold'; <=================???
font-weight: bold;
font-style: normal;
src: url(MyFontBold.ttf);
}

and I mis-understood that 'font-family' part

@mrducks -- thanks for the reminder, I use Adobe Digital Editions to check epubs and Kindle Previewer (not Kindle for PC) to see how well Calibre converted it to mobi or azw3
