Smile Dictionary for Sony PRS500/5 (autorun from SD card) with onscreen keyboard

Hi!

Like Ilasram, I've been busy with obelix' autorun solution:

Here is the second edition of DictioLauncher (0.7b)

These are the new 0.7b features:
– Found explanations for your search word are now separated only after whole words.
– The "Choose Dictionary" button lets you change the dictionary you use from the UI (your last choice is saved in "dict.dat"). I renamed dictionaries to three letters to make it easier to change them.
– Expressions that consist of several words (e.g. "New York") are displayed now completely in the "first" line; "space" can be input from keyboard (but is only visible between two other letters).
ATTENTION: This means that in your dictionary the search word HAS to have TWO SPACES before the explanation !!! Otherwise NO WORD will be found ...
– "0.7b" stands for beta version. This one is much more complex internally than 0.5 was... – I'm glad for any feedback!
(Firmware is NOT changed in any way. While developping I had to do a cold reset a few times: but never in this version...)

As it runs as well on PRS-500 models (actually I got one) I'd like to place a cross-link here to the original thread in the 505 Dev Corner...

This is how it works (partial quotes):
– Dictionaries can be accessed without closing your current book. [...]
– Your dictionary must be a simple text file. [...]
– You can search for any word using the onscreen keyboard. [...]
– Get at different keyboard rows with "cursor-up/down". [...]
– The "arrow" (right side) removes letters from [...]
– DictioLauncher will check your input word against the first word of each line of your text file.
– Search time varies from zero ("a...") to"quite some time" [...]
– The previous/next line (= word) will be displayed by [...]

– Included are three example dictionary files (French, Italian, Spanish; from www.freedict.com): [...]
– BUT - you may use *ANY* text file you have/find [...]
