In that thread(s) about waveform data you will find that the K3 shipped with **at least** three different screens.

So getting the new replacement to work is sort of 'iffy'

I did contact a few of the sellers of new replacement screens on e-bay, asking if they did (or could) pre-load the waveform prom.
Total silence in reply.
Not even: "Duh..."

Sell this one for parts and just buy a used (or new) one that is working.

Note: The K3 and the K2 are still available either 'new' or 'reconditioned' from China suppliers.
