While not retired yet, my observations of married (or otherwise partnered) retirees is:
The HoneyDo list does not get shorter.
The HoneyDo list in fact grows by a factor of 10 to accommodate the hours (including commute time) that you could not service the HoneyDo list.
You will have no trouble filling up your time
