• one of the 90xx models - may or may not be significant
• update to 5.4.3.2 which is specifically mentioned in the first post, using an update package from Amazon's server:
  https://s3.amazonaws.com/G7G_Firmwar...le_5.4.3.2.bin
• stop installing things at this point, check the Kindle for expected (normal) function.
  Also note what firmware version and build number is shown in the settings info page (or footer).
• Be certain to check if you are using "cloud" collections.
