Question Bug in Calibre 0.9.9 ? (Connecting to iPad)

I just downloaded 0.9.9 and since I have a Win 7 64-bit system, I also downloaded the new 64-bit version. Updated to 0.9.9 on the 32-bit version, and then installed the 64-bit version in parallell in order to compare the two. NEITHER version recognized my standard device, an iPad 1, any longer. Tried running the 'debug device detection' tool, and got the following output :

calibre 0.9.9 [64bit] isfrozen: True is64bit: True

Perhaps someone can help me interpret this...

Anyway, uninstalled both versions of Calibre 0.9.9, and reinstalled Calibre 0.9.7, the latest version I used, and presto ! The iPad was once again recognized.

Is it just me, or could there be problem with the latest release ?
