Bots or no bots, the files HAVE been downloaded and that's what the above stats show.
NOW, if you want to question if every download was a valid and pertinent download, then for sure there will be some "problem" downloads therein and the number of downloads will then not be a true reflection of the file's popularity and/or usefulness.
Stats are stats, read into them what you may.
p.s. Hey, Jon, you're already at the top of the heap traffic-wise, and perhaps could be dubbed the "Most Voluminous One" ...
