Kobo is the only ereader company (of the big four) that is not offering some type of 'Back to School' sale.

I wouldn't take this as a sign of new items. This weekend, several states in the US are participating in tax free weekend for school related items. So the ereader companies are taking advantage of it.

There have been better deals in the past as shown by this thread in the Deals forum.
