AZW to EPUB conversion - overlapping letters
When converting an AZW file to EPUB, the result in the viewer looks like the screenshot below.

I managed to solve this by a two step conversion AZW-MOBI-EPUB. Then the resulting EPUB looks fine.

Is there a setting somewhere to avoid the extra step?

I haven't tried viewing the EPUB on a reader so I don't know what happens there.
