this might be a worthwhile thing to at least TRY to add to buildroot?

There are threads on that process.

put on the "nice to have" pile, may try later.

small note: I do not have a single Windows 8 box to connect to (by choice)
so testing would be a problem.

EDIT: Hmm.. it's a cmake build thingy, Bleugh.
Not mega keen on doing this now myself then.
