The equation is solved, and the logical sence kicks back in, and now I'm getting really confused. Why did they sell so many cars if they had a sale on tents?

and people bought tents and cars to travel to somewhere distant to put up the tents, or what is the correlation between sale on tents and sale on cars? I'm more interested in how many tents they sold on the second day. Is there an equation for that?
Come to think of it, wouldn't they have had a garage sale, rather than a tent sale, if they were to sell cars?
