Two points:

Yes, it is a restive screen. The point is that the screen is erratic even with a stylus. Quite irritating at times.

"Less than ten hours? First, that doesn't say anything." Well yes it says that a full charged device will be usable for less than ten hours before it needs to be recharged. If you take as reader and you will be out for twelve hours, you won't be reading anytime in the last two hours.

Make no mistake. This is the Trabant of tablets. If you're looking for a reader, the new Sony is about the same price (at list). If you're looking for tablets there are many alternatives. I bought mine based on the screen size (4:3 ratio) and the use of standard SD cards. Unless the Novel has a specific feature that is important, there a much better choices available.
