I think you've run out of memory. Do you have access to a computer with more memory running a 64-bit Windows? If so, install the 64-bit Calibre and try the conversion again.

Another thing to try is to remove as much from memory as possible. Try a book into safe mode and if Calibre runs, try the conversion again.
