September 11 books

I'm going on a long trip next month. Like 24 hour transportation trip. Hence, I'm looking for something interesting to read about the 9/11 attack. I clearly remember pumping gas in my car when the radio broadcast was interrupted with breaking news. Like anyone else I was so stunned that had the pump not had automatic shutdown I would have flooded the station.

It has now been what, almost ten years? So I thought it would be interesting to read two books about it, one fiction and one non-fiction. The fiction has to be primarily entertaining, while the non-fiction should be as a-political as possible. Any recommendations? And, oh yeah, it has to be available on the Kindle.
