I suppose that this is the problem you're having. Otherwise, please provide more input
Hemm...

I opened Collection Manager
then Menu
Export to Calibre (I get a file on USB root: kindle_collections_path_cache.calibre)

Open Calibre

Connect USB

Import Collections

Collections imported

but everything is empty.

Let's say I have Book A under "Kids" category-folder on the Kindle I would have expected to have Kids in the custom column on Book A

Am I wrong? what am I doing wrong?

Can you help me more? (what info you may need?)

M

EDIT 1: found a message on Kindle
ERROR writing /mnt/us/system/collections.json

I re did all the process (without any error on Kindle) and still is empty.

EDIT 2:
First message was due to the too early connection

Second: I'm too quick (or a dummy). The issue was simply that I was NOT waiting for the json file to be written. Now it works!
