hi am having the same issue... I live in the mountains and my house is very cold...like 50 degrees in the morning..and I am finding I am unable to fully charge my kindle at home...but if I charge it at my work or somewhere where the temp is warmer I'm able to fully charge it...at home I can't charge it higher than 80 percent...I called amazon and they didn't know how to help me...is this a design flaw? should I try to return it or are all of them like this?
