If you look at Amazon.com, you'll find that his Discworld books are almost all priced at $7.99 and "This price was set by the publisher"

Whatever they're doing, they're messing it up. And asking the same for the ebook as for the paperback, which better than asking for more, is still pretty silly, given that the ebooks are DRMed, limited, and have no resale value at all — they can't even be given away.
