, especially for those unfamiar with his work.
explored the slender interstices between love and passion that mark relationships between the sexes, teasing out the subtle nuances that characterize both the anguish and the joy that goes into these relationships; and, in the process, he helped redefine the complexities of Love in all its different definitions. A truly important writer, in my opinion.
