This is a translation of Boccaccio`s “Il libro di Difinizioni”, first translated into English by “H.G.” (London, 1566). This version is based on Thomas Bell`s 1927 reprint of the 1587 third edition of the H.G. translation with slight modernizations of language and punctuation.
