Very nice review. There are a few points that I want to comment on.

Charging - I don't think you left it plugged in long enough. When my jetBook needs charging, I plug it into the USB port on my PC and leave it overnight. In the morning, it is fully charged and the battery indicator is no longer animated.

Fonts - Yes, the choice of only two sans-serif fonts is very limiting. As I mentioned previously, I have emailed Ectaco more than once about adding fonts. As for adding your own fonts, the way the firmware is encrypted makes this very difficult to patch things on your own. I suggested to Ectaco that they not only add more fonts, but make it easy for the customer to add their own fonts into a "Fonts" folder. Maybe we'll see this, maybe we won't.

Chapter links - There is no hyperlinking support in any of the firmwares so far. Again, I have emailed Ectaco about the need for this and even suggested a way to integrate this functionality. I hope they have it on their list for some future firmware.

Images - The previous firmware did not scale images that are larger than the screen. This caused the bottom and right sides to be cut off. It also sometimes caused extra blank screens before and/or after an image. The current firmware still doesn't scale oversized images, but it now centers them. This is also one of the things that I have asked Ectaco to fix.

Although there are certainly several things that need to be fixed or improved, even with the latest firmware, this version is a substantial improvement over previous firmwares. Also, Ectaco has shown that they are listening to customer feedback and actively working on making the jetBook better. Because of this customer friendly attitude, I am willing to give them time to work out all the kinks.
