What about offering the Mini in 2 flavors? You can purchase an ePub model or a Mobi model?
To be honest, I think Mobipocket with DRM is going to go away from most dedicated readers due to the way Mobipocket wants things. They want to be THE only format with DRM and due to ePub being the dominant format outside the US, having ePub does make more sense.
