Post Galsworthy, John: On Forsyte 'Change. v4, 17 July 2009

This collection of short stories "rounds off" the Forsyte Saga, and was published by John Galsworthy in 1930. The 19 stories in the collection are all set before the start of the 2nd trilogy ("A Modern Comedy") and provide additional background to the characters and stories in the original "Forsyte Saga" trilogy.

I would recommend reading this between the "First Trilogy" and the "Second Trilogy" uploaded to this forum.

This book was previously uploaded by HarryT (the above text is mainly what HarryT wrote), that's why I start with v3. Since his version was, as he told me, just a direct translation of the PG text, I've created this new one, for this I proofread the text, added curly quotes and an updated family tree, etc. The initial text was in a much better state than the first volume, though.

Since Galsworthy himself said the stories were set before the second trilogy and could not be understood without having read the first (only because it is assumed that we already know the characters), I'm uploading this before the other trilogies, and I'm giving it the number "1 bis".

Any kind of feedback is welcome.

EDIT (v4): Added the hyphen to "to-morrow" et al. where missing.
