Which just strengthened my belief that it's a complete vaporware, nothing else - the whole reader page looks like a hoax, like someone took the whislist from a topic here and made a still in 3dsmax...

I think it'll end like so many other enthusiastic but amateur attempt - a software company suddenly figures out 'gee, all these big guys are blind, they don't understand what the people want but we *know* it' and starts working on it... then comes the first problems when you have to deal with hardware limitations, price/design compromises etc.

Anyone ever been involved in a process like that knows what I'm talking about - unless they are extremely well off it is highly unlikely that a newcomer small firm will break both Amazon and Sony... they might have smaller overhead but it also means lot less engineering resources (let alone expertise - Sony has infinite hardware design experience to dig from...)

Look at iRex: they did it and they ended up outside of a regular user's price range - and bringing a product to the market, the introduction etc is really expensive game and support is even more and when you don't really sell in numbers but you have to support all of them...

Here I hope I'm wrong but doubt it.
