Paul Harvey was a treasure. His style of writing and delivery were unique and will be missed. Many have tried to follow, but none have succeeded.

His style shifted a while back when his wife passed away and his recent health problems started about that time. For years I have stopped what I was doing at 11:45 am (Eastern Time) to listen to his "Rest of the Story."

Thankfully there are air checks (copies of his broadcasts recorded as they were originally presented) available on CD. The best book about his stories was Paul Aurandt's Paul Harvey's the Rest of the Story. It is out-of-print and hopefully they will reprint it again.
