Immensee (1849) ist die erste Novelle von Theodor Woldsen Storm. Sie handelt von der unerfüllten Jugendliebe zwischen Elisabeth und dem fünf Jahre älteren Reinhard, die von Kindesbeinen an eng befreundet sind. Zugleich zeigt sie den Widerstreit zwischen bürgerlicher Welt und Künstlerexistenz.

Immensee ist großes Kopfkino - mit idyllischen Bildern, tief melancholischen Erinnerungssequenzen und ausgesprochen symbolhafter Sprache. Das Ganze liest sich sehr leicht und flüssig. Viel Spaß!

Hans Theodor Woldsen Storm wurde am 14. September 1817 in Husum geboren und starb am 4. Juli 1888 in Hanerau-Hademarschen. Er war Jurist und Schriftsteller (Lyrik, Novellen und Prosa).
