This one's on my "must read before I die" list, but I doubt I'd get around to it for this book club read.
I was somewhat hesitant to vote for it, but it is one that I have wanted to read for a long time. This version
at Amazon says 1316 pages which would be the longest single volume book I have read (at least that I have kept track of). Although other versions list the unabridged length at "only" 688 pages, so we shall see.
