Well, I certainly do.
I usually switch between a couple of books on my Kindle, plus at least one in my dorm, one at school, one for when I get bored of that one, an extra one of each for Saturday (as a religious Jew I can hardly go around using electronics on Shabbos) and whichever new books come out for a series I've been waiting for for a year at least and which I MUST MUST READ. IMMEDIATELY! Or at least start it; THINGS happen. Mostly a new book which matches the same criteria.
I keep most of my ebooks on my Kindle, just because I have the room, so why not? Although I get rid of anything if I have a strong suspicion I won't reread it. Honestly, it's a pain to have to organize books through calibre to make sure metadata is right then add my amznbook.sdr folder backups to the right place, so if it's working fine, and my Kindle isn't turning into a slug, there is no reason to take books off, and several reasons to keep them.
