Wentworth, Patricia: The Blind Side. V 1. 22 November 2012

Patricia Wentworth (1873-1961) is best known for her Miss Silver detective series, which often had Insp Lamb and Det Frank Abbott as her police foils; but Insp Lamb and Frank Abbott also had a few novels of their own.

This one dates from 1939, when the Miss Silver series was just getting established.
