First of all you need to find out which version of android your EE has installed.

Go to: Settings -> About Edge and look at the Build Number. If it says Ermine-0.9 then you are at the latest version for your EE. If it says Dingo-xxx (where xxx is some number) then you can update to Ermine. The sticky threads give all the information on how to do that, just MAKE SURE you get the correct version of Ermine for the EE or you will have a BIG problem.

BTW what panel are you referring as the resistive panel, the e-ink or the LCD? The LCD is resistive and the e-ink uses Wacom tablet technology, hence the special active stylus.
