CÚsar Cascabel is een roman die door Jules Verne in 1890 wordt geschreven. Het maakt deel uit van de reeks van Extraordinaires van Reizen (de Buitengewone Reizen).


De actie begint in Sacramento in 1867. Cascabels is een Franse familie van circuskunstenaars die verscheidene jaren reizend de Verenigde Staten doorbrachten en is van plan om naar huis terug te keren. Hun besparingen worden gestolen zodat kan zich de familie het schipkaartje veroorloven niet. In plaats daarvan, beslist CÚsar Cascabel over land, via Alaska en Bering Detroit, door SiberiŰ en Centraal Rusland met hun paard getrokken wagen, belle-Roulotte te reizen. Zij verwachten geen gevaren om te gebeuren.



CÚsar Cascabel is a novel written by Jules Verne in 1890. It is part of Voyages Extraordinaires series (The Extraordinary Voyages).

The action starts in Sacramento in 1867. The Cascabels are a French family of circus artists who spent several years touring the United States and plan to return home. Their savings get stolen so the family cannot afford the ship ticket. Instead, CÚsar Cascabel decides to travel overland, via Alaska and Bering Straits, through Siberia and Central Russia with their horse drawn wagon, the Belle-Roulotte. They don't expect dangers to happen.
