Still, the Galaxy Nexus is very reasonably priced already ($350 brand new direct from Google). I reckon sooner rather than later, no-contract, factory unlocked smartphone prices (Android at least) will drop to such a level that there'd be little reason for devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Player to exist. How much does cellular hardware add to the BOM? Less than $10?
