ঘরে বাইরে Gh˘re Baire or The Home, The World
is a novel by Rabindranath Tagore who won the Nobel prize for literature in 1913. The work was first published in his native Bengali in 1915. The story involves a love triangle but deals with personal freedoms, self-identity, and religion amid the struggles of Indian nationalism and sectarian violence.
