Question "Enhanced Content" Went Missing After Update To iOS 5.1 & New Kindle App(?)

I wanted to see if anyone else has run into this issue. I have the Kindle version of the Jackie Kennedy conversations with Arthur Schlesinger (Jacqueline Kennedy [Kindle Edition With Audio/Video]), with "enhanced" audio and video content. Prior to yesterday, it worked fine on my iPod Touch and iPad 1. Last night (after downloading the new Kindle app), the links to the video content on the iPad (running iOS 5.01) were replaced by the following statement: "There is video content at this location that is not currently supported for your device..." The audio links are highlighted, but not active, and don't have the usual triangular "Play" button. I called Kindle support, and was eventually advised to update the iPad to iOS 5.1, as they'd had several reports from customers about similar problems. Because of the time it takes for my iPad sync and updates, I decided to wait until the morning to try it. However, I did update the Kindle app on the iPod touch (already running 5.1) and, lo and behold, the content disappeared from that version also, leading me to believe that it's not solely a software version issue.

So, after that lengthy run-up, I'm wondering if anyone here has had the same experience, either with this title or others with "enhanced" material. I'll touch base with Amazon again, probably on Monday, but I've had bad luck at times with getting inconsistent information, depending on what support rep I get, so I thought I'd try the always helpful community here in parallel. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
