Oliphant, Margaret: Jeanne D'Arc, v.1, 8 June 2008

Mrs. Margaret Oliphant was a Scottish novelist and historical writer. This work, Jeanne D'Arc (or Joan of Arc), was first published in 1896 about the early 15th century virgin saint and national heroine of France. I have added an image of a late 15th century painting of her.
