Calibre fails with proxy after upgrade

Hi,

I've updated from 0.8.8 to 0.8.13 version and data fetch from internet stopped working. Calibre recognizes proxy correctly but fails to get response. I installed 0.8.8 again instead of 0.8.13 and all data fetching functions like RSS and book queries works like a charm.
This behaviour is same for both portable and normal version of Calibre.
Any idea? This was seen on an old machine running Win XP SP2 behind corporate proxy but as I mentioned 0.8.8 works fine.

/John
