Some people aren't annoyed by billboards on highways. Others see visual pollution. I'm definitely in the second group - which is not small, by the way. Now imagine the only billboard ads were for Oil of Olay, Buick and VISA. You might get tired of them.
It is all just a game. If I can't get rid of the ads, I'll still use the Kindle. I feel that Amazon let us down by not delivering interesting and varied ads. It looks like they've only been able to sign up 3 major advertisers.
