When they first put the books up and they see which titles build waitlists. Then about a week later the books with the biggest lists get additional copies added.

I know wait times would increase big time. But instead of say buying 3 copies of the latest bestseller in ePub and 3 in AZW, they could buy 6 in ePub and that would be better overall.
